Bay dun! ; ) If you think about it, bay is a modifier of black which makes the body more brown but leaves the points black. Dun is modifier (of any colour) which lightens the body too - so on a bay dun, you get a very light body and darker points. Vijola (and her baby) are both quite pale bay duns (would probably have been light bays, if they didn't have the dun as well). The baby is by a dun daddy, so could well be homozygous dun (ie will always have dun offspring). I've noticed homozygous duns often seem to be lighter than heterozygous duns.
