I'm glad you enjoyed that, Skye.  I'll try to get a similar picture of him 
without tack, 
but it will be a few days.   I don't mind using him for an example.  He's a 
wonderful 
horse in so many ways - some ways because of his conformation, but some ways, 
despite his 
conformation.  What's important is that he's well suited for his job here: a 
trotting, 
jogging trail horse with a good mind.   And what's REALLY important is that he 
and I LIKE 
each other.  When I like a horse as much as I like him, I'd be happy to modify 
my 
activities so that I can include and enjoy him.   Since I don't have another 
Icelandic so 
close to being 3-gaited that he actually fills a void we had prior to getting 
him.   His 
"quirks" are a nice addition here, and his mind is a joy.
