He sounds like a joy.  A good mind is a terrible thing to waste...

I remember going to a gaited horse clinic at Robyn's and she asked me
what sort of goal I had.  What did I want to come away with...

I told her I wanted to learn how to properly post to a trot.  Yes...I
went to a gaited clinic to learn to post ;)...

Hreggur was very lateral and I wanted to help him loosen up his back
and basically stay out of his way if he had any inclination to trot.
We did finally manage some nice fox trot but it wasn't easy for him.

So yes, I appreciate a good trot.  Gusti's trot would just lightly pop
me out of the saddle, it was very easy to post to.
