Hi Simon, afaik you cannot handle redundant paths properly using the parents logic. But you can use the Business Process Addon (http://bp-addon.monitoringexchange.org/) to describe such interdependencies in your configuration.

All hosts will be reachable when one of the redundant parents go off-line. Only when both redundant parents go off-line will the hosts behind them be unreachable.
