I dunno about you, but I have little trouble telling mailing list mail from random forgeries when I look at it. If your favorite anti-spam technique or security model behaves badly when presented with list mail, I would consider that to be a flaw in the model rather than blame people for using mail in a way that has been common and productive for about 30 years.
