You should really check archive of a big internet mailing list (does
someone know where it is archived?) for various 8+8 proposals
(including mine), some of which was available as IDs (thus, archive of
expired IDs are useful).
Mike's is the latest but the least useful one.

Handling of multihoming in Mike's draft is very old (even at the time
of his proposal) one.
As is briefly explained in <draft-ohta-e2e-multihoming-00.txt>, the
method violates the end to end principle and does not scale.
