The error "Object reference is not set" is thrown when the user already have ifolder (be it 3.6 or 3.2) on windows and when he tries to uninstall the older version and install the new client. We would suggest to remove the local store of the previous installation (remove the "simias" folder under "C:\Documents and Settings\<User>Local Settings\Application Data), before installing the new ifolder executables.
