And if you had seen my emails, you would have noticed that I am actually 
using that. But that multiple places "claim" to have the source.

Sigh.  All this verbiage when all that is wanted is someone to say:

- here is the canonical location of the Subverion tree. 

- here is the canonical location of the source code tarballs.

I have been using it in production for over a year.

Whilst there is not much communication on the mailing list, there does 
appear to be activity, now and then, on the IRC channel.
