Which the client, or the server?

That's a hard question to answer. There are multiple versions of the
client but the earlier more stable clients can't connect to the later
servers. I am not sure how backwards compatible they are, I never
tried tried to connect to earlier servers from later clients.

I have always regarded the client and server as a set so I was talking
about the pair.

And if you had seen my emails, you would have noticed that I am actually
using that. But that multiple places "claim" to have the source.

Can anyone say which one is canonical?

I am not the authority of course but I believe the canonical source is
the subversion repository.

- here is the canonical location of the Subverion tree.

- here is the canonical location of the source code tarballs.

These are ones I have used

https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/ifolder/
https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/simias/

Ifolder refers to the client, simias refers to the server.

I have been using it in production for over a year.

Which version? Do you have the RPMs available? Will you share them
with me? If not the RPMS do you have the source code that you used to
build it.

Whilst there is not much communication on the mailing list, there does
appear to be activity, now and then, on the IRC channel.

I haven't been hanging out on the IRC channel. Is there any news you
would like to share on this list with people on the list?
