hi Mohit ffmpeg is the best audio-video converter from one format to another available. Its a commandline tool but very effective. Its available for almost all distros. Its man page is the best thing to read. This tutorial maybe useful as well: http://www.linuxjournal.com/article/8517 I believe a gui frontend for it called winff was available but haven't used it since Command line is great for me.
