You were right. Yet the wireless problem is not solved. Even after
installing b43-fwcutter, it is not showing any wireless networks.
I tried to follow the instruction on our wiki, but

<iwconfig wlan0 essid "Protocol" > command gave following error:
------------------------------------------------------------
Error for wireless request "set ESSID" (8B1A):
SET failed on device wlan0; No such device
--------------------------------------------------------------

When only "iwconfig" without any arguments is given it gives following
output
------------------------------------------------
lo No wireless extensions

eth0 No wireless extensions
-----------------------------------------

I think, it has not yet detected my wireless card / interface.

PS: I have made sure that b43-fwcutter is installed properly in
synaptic.

regards,
Mayur
