There is no one shot solution for all binary formats since they are put together by different individuals who are obviously not trying to create easy to install/unistall rpms/debs. They obviously have their reasons. But now that you mentioned nividia drivers, have you tried the following? http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=linux+uninstalling+binary+nvidia+driver&aq=f&oq=&aqi= Have you tried any of those links?
