I think that inviting someone just coz s/he is easy to handle won't solve
the purpose. In my opinion, everyone participating in the march should be
himself/herself a dedicated FOSS enthusiast, then only the purpose would be
solved. A large mass of school students march for Pulse Polio campaigns also
but none of them is actually serious about the mission, hence the problem is
never solved.

Media coverage would depend on the mass being gathered and also how much we
publicize the event. http://freedomwalk.in is an excellent medium. Apart
from this, there has to be a dedicated website/blog which reports about the
walk and updates the media people. FOSS enthusiasts with contacts in media,
either print or electronic, would be a great help in this campaign. A huge
number of posters/banners are an absolute must. Funding/sponsorship for
these is another issue to be catered.
