The previous problem of disk read error of the iso downloaded from
ubuntu.com is gone, as i was trying to write the iso file in
rewritable disk.
When i burned it with fresh cd (and also burned the iso got from Alok
singh in another cd)
Other than Boot from Harddisk option,
Try ubuntu without installing / install Ubuntu 8.04 64bit showing
initramfs prompt & Busybox v1.1.3(Debian 1.1.3-5ubuntu12) Built-in-
shell(ash) after loading Linux Kernal
but not the desktop or further installation steps..
How to proceed to check livecd or install it to resize partitions?
