The kernel in Fedora/Ubuntu/SuSE/RedHat is taken from  www.kernel.org
and is not a custom kernel but generic one.

It is also not directly portable in any embedded system since its for
an open system following POSIX.

Any customization like CGL,MLI or DCL is done by Linux Foundation/OSDL
and the like.Any public licensed kernel including Linux may be
customized for any specific application whether cloud or grid.
