yup, Kernel is a something which interact with device and mainly has device driver. you are asking does kernel support "cloud computing" is simply a not a proper question. you should write something on what exactly you are asking. is cloud computing is a hardware device that Kernel will support or not?. as per my knowledge these thing are application level and what resist someone to have software on top of linux kernel.
