I am an engg. student, 3rd yr. I compiled a linux distro with core functionalities and now heading forward to make a good, reliable OS. So I am focussing on kernels first. The OS would port POSIX applications which would be done later. At present I am trying to understand microkernels and their sources. If some one could provide me with any valuable information , it would be very helpful. We do not have to restrict ourself to linux kernels or BSD kernels, but this would only help us in making better than the best. If anyone have any experience on kernels . Please make yourself comfortable to comment on the post and add up to the knowledge.
