wow you reminded me of Software Engineering I had last semester. :) Seeing
practical implications of what one read in theory is always exciting.

In his biography "Just For Fun" Linus said that he didn't even want to be
associated with the legal aspects ... but since there was no other worthy
candidate to take up the responsibility and he didn't want the project to be
ruined because of interests of a company, he accepted what his lawyers told
him.

Why can't Narendra Sisodia run IITD-LUG community or Foundation if

Sure he can !!! Who said he can't?

Disagreements are not the concern here. I think what Satyaa meant was to
delegate responsibilities. Why have everything dependent on one person ...
share responsibilities.
Quoting Satya " what if *god forbid* someone passes away , so my point was
to have a fail safe mechanism."

What's the whole point in the Life Insurance system? Everybody is reluctant
to even think about a member of their family passing away, yet they have to
think about such extremes and plan what will happen when they are gone. Its
not that the family expects the head to pass away... its just a
precautionary measure.

@ Narendra
I hope, now that you are getting married, you will get your life insured for
your wife ... so why not think of this project as your family ( I think you
already do !!) and insure it from the unseen future?

P.S:- don't start a flame war on Life insurance policies, I brought it up
just for illustrating .. and do not expect a flame war on its benefits and
faults (if there are any).
