I think I will avoid Godaddy, since I too love cPanel :)

The latest requirements for Wordpress 3.2 is

   - PHP <http://codex.wordpress.org/Glossary#PHP> version 5.2.4 or greater
   - MySQL <http://codex.wordpress.org/Glossary#MySQL> version 5.0.15 or
   greater

That is all I am looking for as far as PHP and MySQL are concerned.

As for Django support I have sent an email to hostgator people , inquiring
about it!

Out of hostso.com, quick2host.com , and hostagator, I found that hostgator
is offering the most for the best price!

But the problem with hostgator is that they want a CreditCard for payments
:(
or Paypal :( (I do not have a PAN card yet! )

so I am gonna try out the other providers as mentioned by Gaurish!

Will keep you posted on my findings, Thanks all for the great advice, once
again! :)
