I finally decided to go with www.justhost.com, due to the following

this, I am now running Wordpress 3.1.3 Hooray!)

Now there were 2 issues with them too,

So I got a friend of mine to pay using his credit card! :)
2) They need to verify your order by calling you up:-
I got a call from a man with a typical american accent, though the call
came from Poland, as it had a country code of +48 :-
and he asked me,
1) what was the domain name I had registered with them
2) last 4 digits of the CreditCard used for the payment!
After the verification was complete, they just sent me the username and
password and other details for my hosting sapce. :D
A few seniors of mine have been using www.justhost.com for 4 years now! and
