Hi guys, I have been using Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop for around 3+ years now. Currently it runs on Ubuntu 10.04.
>From the past couple of days, it has developed a strange problem. After running for around half an hour to about 45 mins, it suddenly becomes non-responsive. Nothing works, even the mouse pointer doesn't move a bit. The only thing that happens is that the Caps Lock and Scroll Lock keys start blinking. The only resort then for me is to hold down the power key to switch it off. It then fails to start if I try to switch it on again. If I leave it for about an hour, I am able to boot it again but again after about 45 mins of usage, the same thing happens. I guess this may be some hardware issue but I am not sure. Can anyone help me out here?
