On Sunday night when Jennifer backed 391 from the depot to the siding,
three cars hung over Bradley, so they asked her to let them back past
Bradley into the yard. There must of been 10 single level passenger cars,
one Genesis unit.
This is the first school year (of the 4 I've been here) that I've seen a
lot of "Coach seats sold out" on Amtrak's website for all four trains that
come through Champaign. I'm having to book a month in advance for weekend
trips now. Also on weekends, there are impressive amounts of passengers
going through Champaign's station. I've noticed Amtrak running many ads
in the university's main newspaper.
