What Karsten would like to have in his setup is that name always has the value of '$name, $firstname'. So, of course having name and id as unique keys it will not work for him, because he might know two or three people called 'Robert Frost' and would then be forced to name them 'Frost, Robert', 'Frost, Robert 2' and 'Frost, Robert 3'.
