Hi, documentation to upgrade is in 0.9 tarball I think. As of stability or so, I think that latest CVS is more stable than released 0.9 version but for both... these are develop version, there are some problems.
As for me, I'm using ilohamail cvs on production server, but I have problems with character sets and some other minor problems.
