Could you be more clear as to WHAT (the IT you mentioned) is not working and
the conditions under which - I assume a pop3 server you are using , is
running. and BTW why not use IMAP , which is superior to POP3 , and comes
bundled with all distros of Linux.Use Linuxconf to set up pop3 a/cs on your
system. Linuxconf also works across many distributions of Linux.
Please Specify what you have downloaded. This mailing list consists of many
people who are eager to help , but you must be clear on the basic details so
that they understand what your problem is and not spend time on guessing it.

A Number of us use Outlook Express as it makes a sensible choice to viewing
hotmail messages on the Web so don't let Windows flames bother U. Just
don't bring Windows only problems here. Interoperability issues With Linux
is welcomed. Allof us enjoying learning something new!
As for Slackware , most if not all the guys who have been working with Linux
here for more than 2 yrs have started with slackware, which was dominant
then thanks to PCQ
SO Don't worry about flames and just concentrate on framing your q correctly
:-)
