Curious: In todays networked world with both client-side and server-side
scripting, network objects, and so on: What realistically are the
differences? The reality is that the old Windows 9x or Macintosh style of
computer is going to need to go away - those things that make it 'easier'
for a less knowledgable person to use them also makes network security
almost impossible.
As I've said for a while: Either the Ethernet card goes, or the cancel
button on the login screen goes!
