Hi,
actually the situation is this. Each department has one computer which is
registered with the main IIT DNS.Only mail originating from that machine
is passed on to the internet. So any other computer in the department must
telnet to the departmental server and then send mail from there.
What I would like is to allow people to write mail on any departmental
computer, from which the mail would be directed to the departmental server
from which sendmail would send it to the main IIT server.
Is this feasible?
TIA
