great idea!
i think most of us will be glad to pay Rs.50/- or 100/- per month to
contribute to this kind of thing. could i add an item or two?
1. maybe we could arrange our own installfests here in cal, like they
regularly have in europe. apart from being educational, it should also be
great fun!
2. we could purchase for the use of the ilug latest versions of one or two
select distro-s, and other utility software. apart from a few members, most
of us have access only to redhat, through pcq. i think a self-respecting lug
needs more varied experience than that (is debian a good choice?)! cd-s
belonging to the ilug-cal library could be lent out to members for
installing and returning.
whaddya think fellows?
