you are right tathagata, actually on that day i was answering from my office.
my office servers run on redhat6.1 and i had a confusion between conf.modules
and modules.conf. so i checked that from my office computer. it was conf.modules.
now today after once again reinstallation of my home system i checked it modules.conf
on redhat7.0. so i'm extremely sorry mr. laha. in that file these following
lines are only written:

--8<-----modules.conf------8<----
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
alias sound-slot-0 i810_audio
alias usb-controller usb-uhci
--8<-----modules.conf------8<----

and my i810 sings fine. though volume is low. if i use alsa volume becomes louder.
please allow me time to check modules.conf configuration for alsa. after that
i'll send that to you. currently am a bit busy with the segmentation fault problem
and stability of my system at home.

regards.
