Dear members,

I have configured our Linux ( RH 6.1 ) proxy server along with squid / ACL
for firewall and other browsing rules
and it has been running for last three years without any problem. It started
on a PII, 64 MB RAM, two NIC ( 3 Com ) , connected with Cisco 801 & ISDN
line. At the beginning 12 browsers clients used to browse but now it has
reached around 120 users without any change in the server but the question
of security is a big issue now.

I have been advised by h/w vendors like Cisco that their PIX firewall is
much better than Linux squid firewall.
I need some feedback / advice from you whether I should go for Cisco PIX or
continue with Linux Squid.

What about Web Sense ? Or any other tools / technology ?
I also want to put anti virus in Linux proxy so that they can be caught
before they affect the Win 9x clients.
