        At IIT Kharagpur we have three proxy servers running squid, and
1000+
        users on the campus LAN. I am not aware of any security violations
        (except for Windows machines getting infected with e-mail borne
viruses)
        due to weaknesses in the firewall system during the last several
years
        that our system has been in place.
