People who are very much familiar with Free BSD, Slackware Linux will be
good for them, try this also.
People who like to play with the internal parts of Linux .. and conf
files, use Debian, it has the highest number of collections of Packages.
People who are very much "!Lame!" (like me), use Mandrake. nothing to
say more about the Mandrake. Insert the CD, boot your system and start
installation, oho, take a mug of hot/cold coffee too and keep your
television set On, and watch some Music channel .... while installing
Mandrake 8.1.
I have given, a two CD pack of MDK8.0, it is for some one who really
can't spare any cost/CDs for Linux but want to use. help him with that
CD, I am using the MDK8.0 [& upgrade the Kernel iff req].
Another very good CD is there, it is Single Network Firewall, MDK-SNF.
nice bundle as a secure most Linux. Try that too.
Try out the IBM CDs also, people who use to play with Java, they can
enjoy all these in Linux. actually we got 500 Free CDs from IBM Linux.
People who like to have ORACLE in Linux, ask Abhijit, he can manage a
demo!!.
