any way Sayamindu ..... about your fixscript ... I tried it out ... but after I do the insmod sm56A.o I mean the new file created by the fixscript (old file is sm56.o).... .it gives a message as segmentation fault .....please revert ..... on what are the other means of using the internal motorola sm56 modem on Linux ..... other wise its gonna be tough for me to buy a new one ..coz I do not have any CASH !!!! I have tried to read the manual on WINE ... if any one could jus tell me the fastest way to have a look at it functioning .... coz I feel some file is missing .. even though I installed it from the CD ..... jus in a few steps on emulating windows programs ..... best of Luck all regards Saurabh __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
