This is a great idea. I have a friend in Calcutta, Shubhra, he is working in banglanatak.com. We are planning to write a dictionary in Bangla. What we are trying to do is to give emphasis on computer terms.
But we have a common philosophy that we are not for translating each and every word in Bangla, we are not for calling save as bachao. I have reason for that. I am working on project where I need to teach computer, primarily linux to people who are not very comfortable with english, but still I realize that basic commands like file, save, edit, undo and words like computer, internet, and many other computing terms have global implications. Instead of translating the words, it will be better to have explanation of these words. I have come this conclusion from my experience, some one might disagree with it. But if some one is interested in this method then we can collaborate as Shubhro and I have already decided to work on Bangla dictionary project.
