Sankarshan, If u r feeling adventurous and really want to try something different.... then i suggest u do a thorough RTFM of `man pppd` and write the script to do the job... the best part is that this way you can easily have the things on Dial on Demand or whenever you want the ppp0 interface to be activated.... :-)
