hmm.. could be done .. i guess

yes .. that would be ok

ooops ... 8-((

not too late, yet .. but the problem is money handling/payment ..
as it is, compass is being criticised for 'faulty formula' for
stall allotments in NIS .. and for separating the s/w show from
main show .. so any spl concessions from compass can't be
expected at all .. there IS an effort of getting some company to
sponsor ilug-cal .. by getting a stall and letting us do our
things .. by sponsoring food, h/w, transportation, etc .. but
nothing concrete has emerged as yet .. going by the speed (slow
speed) .. it might come in too late

this is a dead and closed topic .. for now, definitely .. we need
to concentrate on Compass

this already is the state of affairs .. thankfully we can make it
happen by doing our favourite thing : "nothing"

i fully suport this approach

hey ! why didn't "I" think of this one ? a leisurely debate ..
what a super idea .. cool, calm, focussed, nice, decent,
friendly, co-operative email based (?) deliberations .. this will
crystalise nicely over several months .. and the decision will be
long lasting and rock solid too !

This we'll HAVE to do .. with the tidal wave of linux popularity
by compulsion rather than by choice and planning .. i remember
one meeting where someone important pointed out that govt of wb
will have to go the linux route .. why ? .. they have no money to
pamper themselves with windows, that's why ! .. its not a matter
of choice .. its a matter of no choice except those choices which
cost zero to buy .. even if we won't do it, it'll happen !

'my offer' ? grrrreat !
