The Epson should work without problems. As for the TVSE, you have to
find out which "well known" printer it emulates (e.g. Epson or NEC or
whatever) and, for best results, use that model name when configuring
your print setup.

Actually, by far almost every dot matrix printer understands what is
know as the Epson 'Esc P' printer control language. So pictures and
graphics, to say nothing of plain old text printing, should be possible
with any 24-pin DMP.
