I was talking of a careless sysadmin who inadvertently forgets to chmod the right permissions for the bootloader file. In that case GRUB offers better security. However, if the sysadmin is really really careful, then it doesnt make too much of a difference. I use LILO myself, but I always like to concede that GRUB, with the features and flexibility it provides is **the superior bootloader**
