Just bought an assembled P4 2.4 Ghz with MOB 865GBF and 80GB HDD...told the vendor that I would be using Linux and sometimes windows too.. (so needed a dual boot..)
the hardware engineer with the vendor installed win98 first and then tried to partition the Hard drive with partition magic.. it did not work..he messed up everything and told me that the software does not recognize that big a drive.. Can anybody suggest a remedy and better still can anybody help me out with the dual boot and installing Red Hat 8.. with best wishes, Abhijit Poddar.
