U might just like a partition software called "7Tools Partition Manager Demo".... it's quite easy to use and install.... runs on Win XP as well.... Here is the link http://download.com.com/3000-2248-10213817.html?tag=lst-0-6 It's a 3.43mb download.... Btw if u do have a only 5 GB of used space in yer primary partition or C drive... why don't u shift all ur imp docs etc. to D and then re partition C (using say a dos boot floppy to bot the laptop and using fdisk command) and free up some 10 GB from it or make C 5GB instead of 15... and then u install XP into C again, and shift ur docs back on from D... and now u delete ur extended dos partition (i.e hda2 as linux would read it later when u install it).... (under which u have D i.e hda5 under linux linux).... and make it 15.... and well make logical drives under the partitions as say 5 GB each (so u'd have D, E, F... under extended now... which are hda5, hda6 and hda7 under linux respectively).... then u can devote one of those 5 GB's to the GNU/Linux os!! It's just an advice.... tho very time consuming.... but comes handy if u like experimenting with different operating systems... .... I've my RH 8 installed in hda3 (another primary partition outside dos) and ELX BizDesk is hda4 (again as a primary partition) and swap is hda6!! ---Atanu P.S. you can dl docs about hoew to install RedHat installation from www.redhat.com/docs -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
