I need information on mounting NTFS hard drive. Recently I get confuse with all these confusing issues. Well let me make you understand what kind of problem I'm facing.
I have 2DHH, One has NTFS and the other one have no partition on it. I installed Mandrake Linux 9.1 on the free HDD and after finishing installation I found a “Windows” folder is mounted in /mnt/ I know that is my NTFS HDD.
New, same story goes, but my NTFS HDD was disconnected this time. I mean I install Linux keeping my NTFS HDD unplugged. After finishing installation I connect the HDD, but Linux cannot give me access to that HDD. I found /mnt/hd but this doesn't allow me to do anything.
Can anyone help me, how can I access to my NTFS hard drive now from Linux?
