Hi Omi
You only can mount read only a NTFS partition in linux since the read/write
mounting kernel module is experimental it is very dangerous the developers
say use it you own risk prepapre to loss your data.
Now if your kernel is not compiled with NTFS module you have to add it.
This link http://linux-ntfs.sourceforge.net/ will help you to find a pre
compiled module as rpm for your ease. ( I got rpm for Redhat 9.o & for other
version of rh also but do not know about other distros.)
