Okay VB may be a good lang but can you do one thing print hello world in
Linux.

Any way if you like an IDE which will help you to design the GUI then just
look at www.trolltech.com . This company made a very good tool kit named Qt &
also a designer for it . Now combination of Qt , Qt Designer & Kdevelop you
can produce code as easily as VB but the codes will be in a proriatey lang
like VB but in C++ so you should have knowledge of C++.

Hope this will help you.

Q: How many Microsoft vice presidents does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Eight. One to work the bulb, and seven to make sure that Microsoft gets $2
for every light bulb ever changed anywhere in the world.
