How about setting up a "linux clinic"? A linux clinic
would mean that users who are already trying to use
linux (newbies) and more experienced users can share
their problems they are facing while using linux and
can exchange solutions. This could potentially involve
providing advices on choosing linux flavors, helping
with installation problems, shell scripts, networking
troubleshooting etc. You know, then telling them about
open source software.
