Hi,

You will not be able to enter username/password in the
log window. But you can do it in the "Login Terminal
Window". 
There, the username prompt comes up right after the
welcome message. Maybe you're unable to see the login
terminal window because
of the log window which is in the foreground. Try
without the log window display ... uncheck the "Show
log window" box
at the bottom left side of the main KPPP dialog. Also,
if the "Script Debug Window" comes up by chance while
connecting, close
the same as otherwise the login terminal window will
be pushed to the background again.

Let me know if this works.
