99% we are not participating in COMPASS.

(1% - Its like a one day game - nothing can be said

Jokes apart -
You can distribute the ubuntu CDs in a lug meeting.
The latest update I have is Raj Mathur is coming as
a speaker for COMPASS.
The main resons for not participating being:

1) money for a big prominent stall (no point in going
for a small stall)

2) Lack of time and enthusiasm from members

3) website is not up to date.

4) Meetings are not taking place properly.

May I humbly ask how do the points 3 and 4 contribute to non-participation at Compass ?

Thanks

3 and 4 certainly do not significantly contribute. A small stall is better than no stall and would certainly be infinitely better than the mess we were at the BF. We will find the necessary enthusiasm and the participation once we know we are in there. I think the problem has been the uncertainity too and the plans of an excessive routine of meetings. The latter allows for all kinds of applicable excuses.
