have u compiled ur com port driver as a module ? it is possible to use same com for both JDM and modem. but I also have a serial homebrew LIRC. what to do with it ? is there any infrared circuit which can be connected with *infrared* header in the mobo ? > This is only a suggestion, I have not tried it out - USB to COM port > converter cables are nowadays available, costing around Rs.350. AMD64 and its mobo cost more -;(( while sempron 2200 costs Rs 2100/- and ASRock mobo costs Rs 1900/- what is the price of ur processor and mobo ? how many PCI are there ? what are the inbuilt features ? I don't have any broadband but interested to use Airtel unlimited net connection through my samsung C110 GPRS mobile. for doing this I need a data cable. > > -- K.
