PCQLinux2005 is *based* on FC3 but with an extensive amount of patches.
If possible do try with FC3 base. For what it is worth, this seems to be
a common problem with the AamarPC & PCQLinux combination.

Try booting into the lower resolution and system-config-display to
attempt to set the hardware (monitor & video card).
