boot from NIC, use boot PROM onto the NIC. boot PROM with linux boot image is available which is mounted onto the NIC. The alternative is less complex.Write linux boot-image onto a CD, tweak the BIOS , make CD-ROM first boot device and restart the client machine. Of course the client must have NIC. sanjay
