My dear frnd,
I ve Mandrake 9.1 and there is no problem with mounting. But right now I
need Red Hat 8.1 and windows mounting is required. So if u ve any idea
with RedHat 8.1+Windows drive mounting pls let me know.
I have Winows 2000 + RH8 on my system, with the Windows partition
accessible from Linux. I see that my Windows partition is mounted under
Linux as vfat.
I think, in your case Win2k is installed not using NTFS but using FAT32
partition (may be you had used dont format the partition during
installation).
Thanking you

Its ages ago (~ 2.5 years actually!) since I set this configuration up. I
can't recall with any certainty how I got Windows to create a vfat
partition for itself. If its possible for you to re-do your Windows
installation, you might try this option.
